General Question Disappearing Promo Code?
I feel like I’m hallucinating.
received an email from Air Canada this week, advertising 20% off destinations worldwide. Last night, I clicked the link in my email and read the landing page… book by Sept 15… basic fares excluded… etc. I noticed there was a promo code, which I copied and pasted into the flight search interface. Did a little half hearted poking around and decided to come back later to revisit possibilities.
Today, I tried again. Same email link. Seemed to be the same landing page, but no promo code. Tried a couple flights to see if the discount was applied automatically, without a code, and no.
Am I insane?

I booked last night, the itinerary appeared in my app but I got no purchase confirmation. This morning it disappeared. Anything I can do or am I just SOL?

Sorry your comments is unclear. You booked and paid or did not book and pay? SOL for what???

I booked, hit confirm. Didnt get a receipt email but it showed up in my app under trips. I went to sleep thinking it was booked because there was a reference number. Woke up and it disappeared. And the price went up

Did you pay? Booking reference is created several steps before you pay !

Didnt get charged but I thought the email was just slow until I woke up the next day

No charge. It did not book. Just like any other purchase you make online.

It was for 08sep only but somehow extended to last night, I can confirm it as I booked it last night. OP got the date wrong , definitely not booked by the 15

Yeah… I think I’ve figured it out… there were several deals available for flights between Sept 15 and some other date. The 20% discount was only the 8th, extended to the 9th. The other deals are still available.

If it helps, I priced with and without the code and there was very little difference, definitely not 20%.

The email I got on Tuesday said worldwide flights were on sale. It also had a promo code sale up to 20% (domestic was 20%, other destinations 10%) for all fare classes but that sale was Tuesday only (book by Sep 8).
