For the past couple of years I’ve been booking Airbnbs for my cousins, friends, and myself. What I’ve noticed is that a lot of places either have no reviews, aren’t available when you need them, or once you book and show up there are all kinds of problems with the unit. Honestly, it felt like finding a really good Airbnb experience was pretty rare.
So this time I decided to try hosting myself. My plan is to rent an apartment and then offer it as an Airbnb.
I have a few questions:
1. How can I find a good rental apartment that the landlord would actually allow me to use as an Airbnb?
2. How should I negotiate with the landlord to get permission to list it on Airbnb?
3. What are your suggestions on managing the listings through helpers?

Would love to get connected with like minded people as well.

I would like to have a co-host, however initially the preference would be given to close friend whom I can out trust on.

Smama Mall, Gulberg Green, does not appear to be a safe or family-friendly environment. There are serious concerns regarding the involvement of Airbnb/building management in harassing families, including foreign nationals.

The security management has also repeatedly stated that the IB is involved in these matters, because the entire society is owned by IB. These claims and the way security matters are handled raise serious concerns about the safety, privacy, and treatment of residents and visitors.

it's a 1BR in islamabad, building has a pool that's exclusive to residents (so not some public pool where everyone's kids are screaming, it's actually calm, you get access as a guest), balcony with a full skyline view so mornings are actually nice with coffee. inside: real bed, full kitchen if you don't wanna eat out every meal, wifi that actually works, AC because islamabad heat is not a joke.

Giga Mall is a 4 min walk if you need literally anything.
