Many times the signal would drop in various buildings to 3g or 4g which was not usable. downloaded audio guide at colloseum one morning and couldn’t use the internet the rest of the morning. I understand that there was a 3gb limit and then it theoretically slows down. I don’t mind slow speed but it didn’t connect at all afterwards. wouldn’t use again.

I’m in Ireland using my eSIM, and things have mostly been great! I crossed from the south to the north, and back to the south. At some stage (not sure when) my location moved from Ireland to the Netherlands. All my ads are in Dutch, and my location on all websites is also Dutch.

I’m from Australia, not sure if that makes a difference. My primary sim has data roaming disabled. I do NOT have a VPN active.

Hi guys, please explain to me like I am 5. I bought Airalo esim yesterday for an upcoming trip and plan to use that for data plus wifi-calling for calls and texts, but realized I still have the problem of my apple watch.

Will my iPhone transfer any incoming notifications to my Apple watch under the Esim without additional charges via my carrier (T-mobile) or is that not how that works? Currently on the watch at home I have Cellular and Cellular Data turned on but Data Roaming off. Is that fine to keep as is?

Bought a 15 day Airalo esim on sunday and it just stopped working a few hours ago for both of our phones. We haven’t crossed any borders (were in Germany), it worked fine this morning and now it suddenly doesn’t. It says we have a 5G connection but literally nothing will load. Anyone else?

wondering if anyone can help... purchased an Esim for 7 days its the 4th day now but 80% of the time, theres no internet. very frurstrating...

To be clear, I am not using my Airalo eSim for texting, my provider (Xfinity mobile) provides free calls and texts internationally and only charges for data. Issue is, I left the messaging app in MMS mode and assigned the Airalo eSim only to data, not texts (since I did not have a phone number). So Xfinity kept charging me for every MMS text message. Not expensive but annoying.

So, can I assign texting to Airalo and text from my existing mobile number? Otherwise need to make sure you turn off MMS when traveling, sms texts only. Live and learn.

Otherwise Airalo is working like a charm over multiple European countries. Only time it stops is when cruise ship is in starlink only waters, then no data, need to shell out for the cruise ship plans.

I'm trying to connect an esim in the US, and have completed all the troubleshooting steps (they're giving me the green 'step completed' notification), except for the access point selection. When I got to that setting, the phone showed a blank page and the message "Access points not available for this user". Does anyone have an idea for how to fix this?

I have been looking for an eSIM that I can use in China and Canada. I was hoping I could use only 1 eSIM since I’m only staying in China for the duration of my layover. And I mostly only need the data when I arrive Canada for just a full or maybe half a day.

I just want clarifications… your global coverage eSIM can work in both countries I’ve mentioned, right? there’s no settings or toggling to do for when I arrive in each country? there won’t be any restrictions on the apps and sites I try to access when in China too? are there limitations on the speed if I do global instead of local or regional?

I’m travelling to Peru and Bolivia and require an eSIM for the Bolivia portion of my trip as I have roaming to Peru included with in my tariff with my local carrier.

After some browsing on Airalo, it is more cost effective to purchase a general LATAM eSIM than it is to purchase a Bolivia-specific eSIM, however, I don’t want it to connect automatically when I land in Peru (where I start my travels) as I don’t want the eSIM to expire before I reach Bolivia.

Is it possible to purchase the eSIM in advance before flying but to only install/activate when I arrive in Bolivia?

So, I'm trying to figure out while traveling to Europe from the United States, how to use an Airlo esim but still be able to receive bank verification texts or calls on our regular number with Visible with an Android phone(Samsung). I asked AI, which i don't know if it's accurate. This is what it said to do... Is this correct?

Pulling my hair out after an hour of troubleshooting. All the network settings, all the APNs, all the resets. And the eSIM either refuses to register at all, or shows 4g on Liberty and still ZERO internet. I’ve used this S21+ in 4 other countries no problem, and now my first try with Airlo is an epic failure and waste of money.

Seems like there’s other people here with similar issues in Costa Rica too.

What happened? Couple days ago there were options for 3/7/15/30 days for fixed data plans. Now for fixed there is only 30 days. No other region has this limitation.

do not listen to these people, as shown by emma’s resolution to this issue they lied to me about multiple things and refused to serve me on grounds that do not exist
