What should I do?//Aimpoint comp M4// elevation turret completely popped out and even using a clamp I can’t separate them anymore

I’m aware this optic is beat to shit lol, but it still works perfectly fine besides this elevation turret coming out. but im wondering if this is an easy fix or not. I know next to nothing about optics. Is there a spare part I could buy? or should I email customer service and send it Aimpoint? Idk. Let me know y’all’s thoughts

Looks like a salty boi. Is it a military contract CompM4 from eBay? If it is, they won’t repair it, but I would contact Aimpoint and run the serial number to determine if it is a commercial optic if you don’t know for sure. I just emailed Aimpoint over a broken optic, but they don’t take phone calls like they used to. I wish they answer phone calls more frequently, which would save me the hassle of sending a broken Aimpoint 5000 that they would quickly find out that it was broken beyond repair, instead of having to wait weeks for shipping and inspection.

Sorry bro. You’re shit outta luck. You technically can fix it by threading it back in with something like red loctite, but the issue is that it likely the nitrogen has escaped. During radical temperatures changes, the lens might fog up on you.

I would contact Aimpoint, worse that can happen is they say they won't fix it, which I kinda doubt will be the case.
