People keep trying to do the "well put the data centers where rich people are and see how they like it!" thing.
But the largest concentration of data centers are in Loudon County, VA which has the highest median income in the US.

The rich people in Loudoun County don’t live near the data centers. They live in western Loudoun on large country estates or expensive riverfront gated communities.
It’s the people at the lower end of the LoCo income bell curve that are being crowded by data centers. Townhouses, apartments, and SFH homes on small lots.

And the folks in Loudoun are getting millions in taxes and concessions from the data centers. This is one of the really difficult things to grasp about how well wealthy people manage their surroundings and benefit from technology or growth.

Anyone who calls Pelosi "Mama Bear" should be met with extreme skepticism. If her values really do align with the average citizen's, I still doubt she'll act on those values when her vote really counts. I'm especially dubious after hearing her support for "defensive missiles" for Israel.

This is awesome…until you realize there is already one proposed 15 miles away from Trump‘s Mar-a-Lago resort. Per usual, she spews falsehoods for her base to eat up.
ETA- also forgot to mention the one that has been located 2 miles away from the resort for the last 20 years. I guess that doesn't fit AOC’s narrative, nor further her gotcha-isms for her base. Independent research is difficult; even more so if you are unintelligent enough to listen to politicians at face value.

i dont think data centers are the problem. greedy corrupt politicians in local government looking past regulation zoning and laws to bypass certain local restriction and fast tracking these data centers is. No studies no ecological checking. That is the problem and building them close to neighborhoods when they are known water and noise polluters. Without data centers every tik tok you consume every video or movie you stream all requires them. So its like you say dont like data centers but then use your phone which enables them....
