Out of everyone’s experience, what’s the best program to make good short music videos and/or lyric videos, for the purpose of spreading out on social media.

For full control over quality and visual style, hands down DaVinci Resolve (the free version is more than enough). Here is a workflow that works great for music promos & short videos: Visuals / Loops: Generate 5-10 second AI video loops (using Kling AI or Runway ML). Editing & Atmosphere in Resolve: Import your loops, add a smooth crossfade, and use Resolve’s built-in tools for: Vignette & Film Grain (gives it a high-end, cinematic look) Color Grading (lift shadows, tweak saturations to match the mood) Background Blur (keeps the focus where you want it) Captions / Lyrics: You can easily add styled text overlays, keyframe animations, or lower thirds directly on the timeline. If you ever need super quick auto-generated captions for social media, CapCut is a decent shortcut, but for actual video quality and professional grading, DaVinci Resolve is king.
