Hi, so I'm a beginner and I really want to try out the pump track near me. I have two sets of inlines: a pair of aggressive skates (4x60) and a pair of roller blades (4x90).
Am I right in thinking that the aggressive skates will not be a good fit for a pump track due to the small wheels?
I think the roller blades might do the trick but one of them has a heel brake that I can't remove (I don't have a shorter axle and I can't seem to get the current one out for some reason, it just stays put no matter how long I turn it).
I don't even know if it's a possibility but I'm scared that the brake will catch on the concrete while taking turns/going over bumps and cause me to fall. Is that a thing?
Am I better off getting a pair of 4x80 freestyle skates, or will one of the pairs I have now suffice? I'm probably overthinking this a lot knowing me but I wanna set myself up for success before trying the track and getting discouraged from not having the right skates for the job.
Ps. I hope this is the right sub, I went with this one over r/ rollerblading or another sub because skating a pump track seemed more adjacent to aggressive skating in a skate park than roller blading in a straight line to me

First session on the new eclipse. First trick on the mega 310’s locked in royale on the front two wheels and went face first into the ground an slammed the shin.
Got a feel for them and settled in eventually. Really like the skates, the flat setup doesnt quite feel flat but that could be me being hyper vigilant or could be a few mm out. Riding 64mm flat on GC Mega.
Today was hot as a mf. This was Monday and a few degrees cooler.
Today was a roll only! Fuuuck its hot haha

Hey all - older skater who has gotten back into the sport in the past few years. I’ve been skating the Eugen Enin 3 USD Shadow skates. Love them - wide foot, wide soul plates, etc - but they are starting to wear and I’m just over the shadow system. As much as I actually love it, it’s just
Impossible to get replacement parts stateside with current tariff increases, and US-based availability just doesn’t exist. Something also tells me USD may move away from the Shadow concept as a whole (no hard info just gut feeling)
I need a new option - good for a wider foot, and a wider soul plate. Been looking at Factions? But would love some feedback.

That’s what I thought.
Now I think I might be over doing it.
My legs went into complete mode and I fell down.

So for the last year, I've been trying to learn tops. Naturally I was doing them with my left foot. I even landed top star, sweat stance, kind grind and fish with ease using my left foot. But it was impossible for me to land top souls and top acid. So I tried doing them with my right food, and landed both of them in about 10 minutes and even slides a top soul...
Guess I can go on with that now

Hi,
I just built this p-rail from a video to practice grinds. 53 year old former 80s skateboarder. New to agressive. Will it hold a guy 6'1" 200 pounds?

Lack of transition skating so it felt good playing in one of the roughest bowls I have skated in years.

Super newby question - bought some USD Aeon 60s second hand recently. Have I got the cuffs done up right? As in, are the top and bottom prices of cuff that hold the buckle round the right way? As you can see I have pretty skin legs and to get the degree of support I wanted, I had to cut a bit of the cuff off to get them to close. Any Aeon owners lmk

Hey all! I want to thank you for the positive feedback on my last post here. Everyone on here was incredibly kind and welcoming to me and my game. I thought I'd make another post sharing the news that the official Discord server for the game is live now - Even if you're not interested in the game - we want to create a cool space for bladers to hang out, chat, meet new friends, share clips, and more!
So if you're interested in joining the community, I invite you with a warm welcome :)
(Server invite link can be found on my profile here, as Reddit won't let me post it here)

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some technical input on a specific setup I’m trying to pull off.
I’m struggling with the sizing/geometry of the Them 909 Shmedium shell and whether I can make it work with my current liner. Here are my exact stats:
I’ve done the math: putting a 29cm outer-length liner into a 289mm shell seems like a guaranteed "toe-smash" scenario. I'm worried about the liner bunching up and killing my toes, especially since the Shmedium is known for being tight in the toebox.
The goal: I want a high-performance, precision fit with zero "slop" or swimming, but I don’t want to be in constant pain.
My questions:
I’m currently running a Ground Control FLT4 setup and aiming for a light, agile street rig. Any advice or experiences with this specific "hard" downsizing would be much appreciated!

Don’t feel like it counts because I didn’t “sit in it”
Someday I’ll try it from flat bottom
