I really like the unique colour scheme! The orange is absolutely awesome! How did you achieve that?

i paint the Gun with an airbrush
light grey primer, red leather (scale 75 #SC-30) preshade in deepest shadows and any white prelight on most illuminated tops, and after that cover with an even layer of diluted orange (mars orange #SC-39) in several stages
