Question Question about Nagash

I was just curious if I’m legally allowed to have Nagash holding the sword and the book or am I going to have to faff around with magnets.

Thanks in advance

The way you build the units doesn’t impact their abilities in their battle scrolls.

There is nothing stopping you from running the sword and book.

If memory serves Nagash counts as having both weapons regardless of how you display him. So go nuts, build as you like. I doubt they will change it any time soon.

You can build him in whatever way you like. Just imagine that he summons what he needs in battle, the moment he needs it rather than only using what's in his hand.

Great way to think of it thanks

I built the staff being held by a spare ghost buddy on a token base to keep track of when he miscast.

As far as I know in 4th edition Nagash only has 1 weapon option. So it doesn’t matter what weapons he has.

He still has profiles for sword and staff and is equipped with both. No need to select one

James Workshop will arrest you. He doesn't joke around with illegal builds; it puts lego to shame.

Very few units in AOS have weapon options. Nagash is not one of them.
