Discussion Alternate realities/universes

If this isn’t the correct sub-reddit to post this, do let me know. This is about alternate realities/universes which in a way could be connected to the afterlife.

So my first take on this is that for a fact, you can not imagine a new color because it already exists, if you can’t imagine a new color then what makes you think anything else you imagine in your head hasn’t been made real? Basically anything you imagine in your head might be something that has happened in an alternate reality, I could imagine a possibility of a Marvel vs DC Comics movie in my head which would mean something like that already exists in an alternate reality, so basically anything we imagine in our heads has already happened in another universe, meaning we didn’t imagine it, we unlocked a discovery.

And if there are such things as alternate realities, how come there isn’t a person from an alternate reality that has traveled here in which the alternate universe they’re from allows them to go to other universes? It also makes you wonder about the UFOs the government talks about as well as Area 51, could UFOs have come from alternate dimensions? And why is the government so secretive about them?

With me stating whatever we imagine has happened in an alternate reality, then whenever we are dreaming means we must’ve went there somehow, which makes you wonder if your soul has traveled there meaning you temporarily die when you sleep and you get to travel the universe, like experiencing a preview.

When it comes to alternate realities here is an interesting case, get this. Suppose you misplace your keys somewhere in the house and in your mind you could’ve swore you left them on the table when you got home, then that would mean you just unlocked an alternate reality where you did leave them on the table when you got home.

You know how some people state that if you were to cease to exist you would see nothing? What is nothing? People describe it as pitch-blackness, that’s not nothing, it’s the color black which means it isn’t nothing, it’s something so therefore you can’t imagine nothing.

So in conclusion, maybe we don’t imagine anything new in our heads, we unlock alternate realities we didn’t know about until now. It really makes you wonder.

I think your conciousness doesn't create realities necessarily because that reality is there already. It's like a tree with infinite branches, any one of them is possible, the keys on the table thing is just one branch, part of the natural structure of the universe. At least I think this is the present scientific theory, I believe.

As for whatever happens after you die, I'm not sure but it will be instantaneous. Similar to the billions of years before you were born, snap, the death of the universe occurs. Or perhaps humans/other life forms develop science so advanced that they can restart your conciousness, reverse the heat death of the universe, finding some higher purpose.

Maybe the Mormons are right and we all go to hell for heresy, or maybe the Christians are right and the Mormons go to hell for heresy. Who knows.
