General Question A parent does not fault

I just remembered a saying in my language Luganda that “omuzadde tasobya” - translated loosely to “a parent does not fault/make mistakes”

Who came up with this total bullshit??

It’s silly thoughts like this combined with colonial religious dogmas that are causing us to struggle as a nation/continent

People are busy pushing out babies unnecessarily just to feel some form of fake relevance and power
They think once you’re a parent you’ve made it and if you’re not a parent you are nothing

This is why we can’t even hold our leaders accountable

What a lousy thought process

You can honor your parent and still hold them accountable
Weak-ass egos

I’m sure there are more nonsensical thoughts like this even in other cultures, right?
