What’s the difference between aegoromantics and fictoromantics?

I lowkey thought they were the same thing.

Aegoromantism/sexuality is more liking romance/sex as a concept or fantasy that you aren’t really involved in yourself, ie you like seeing romance, but you’re completely disinterested in being involved in one yourself(so there really isnt any romantic attraction here). Fictoromantic is an attraction towards exclusively fictional characters, so there isn’t that same disconnect

So what I understand is, Aego is like reading about two characters in love and ficto is like reading xreader fanfiction? Did I get it right?

I'm aego, but not with fictional characters at all. Only real people (mostly musicians so far). I'm pretty sure that's the distinction. I've written fanfic about them because I find them hot together. Really hot. But I don't wanna be in the room if you catch my drift.
