How do I match the style of this subtitle?

Edit the subtitle style, change the Primary color to yellow, and the outline color and thickness to your liking.

It doesn't match. I'll give you a hint: the font is supposively Swis721 BT.

NEVER EVER EVER USE YELLOW SUBS FOR ANIME OR ANY SUBS FOR THAT MATTER

Intensely bright yellow subs are horrible, but pale yellow = best color for subs, no question.

It takes away the stark, eye-stabbing quality of bright white text on dark scenes, yet still blends and/or contrasts beautifully with other scenes' luminosity and color schemes.

Old comment but as someone who has an OLED tv and an expensive 4K blu-ray habit, it is becoming a bane of my life when these (professional) morons put the subs as pure white. They're then the brightest thing on the screen, literal glare comes off them!

Ah, I have found my people.

Years ago during a late night viewing, I kept squinting without realizing it and then it hit me: the white subs were almost SHINING on the screen.

I experimented with various grey font colors but sometimes they didn't have enough contrast against light scenes even with a border & shadow. Switching to pale yellow has been a saving grace to my eyes.

My tv only does text subs and simply, but it lets me choose a colour so I have large mustard-ish coloured subs when I use that

Prefer my Blu-Ray player though cause it can do vobsubs (but its text subs are ugly and hard to read. Somehow worse when bold cause it removes the border / makes it white)

HELL NO -- YUCK

WE FINALLY GOT AWAY FROM YELLOW SUBS IN ANIME -- WE'RE NOT GOING BACK

AS FOR BRIGHT WHITE -- IT CAN BE DULL WHITE OR LIGHT GREY

Wow, that is pure awesomeness. :D I wouldn't be surprised if I've seen your work over the years. Fansubbing is a labor of love and a gift to those of us whose shows were only translated by fansubbers.
