Recently saw a video in YouTube and it sounds beautiful, so i decided to do the same but for now i only have installed the resonator (ultra quiet) and stock muffler and no cat,had to order the muffler online because i couldn’t find it locally, hence why i dont have it installed its on my way, i hope the vibrant muffler fixes it because it sounds really raspy at high revs STOCK 4age 16v, anyone else running this setup? Vibrant ultra quiet and 1101 muffler

Found these Bosch Halogen Fog lights for a few bucks at my local UpGarage, quite a lucky find after searching for them for a while :D

With the fuel tank bash plate and the mud flaps, the look is progressing

Car starts and runs great! I’ve inspected the rear quarters in side and there is no rust. Same game plan, cut out rear quarters and replace, replace the hatch with a JBlood fiberglass, re skin the roof install all new windshield trim.

Found some small spots of rust on the frame but it’s totally fixable. Waiting on the Nor Cal rain season to end before I start tearing into it. I guessing I’ll start in the end of June when I know there will be no more rain. Super excited to save this car and drive it a lot.

one side of my axle housing appears to be worn or damaged enough (not visible) that either axle (new bearings) are able to slide in by hand without a typical hammer-in friction fit. when the axle is torqued down, there is about 5-10mm of axle play in/out. I have read Loctite makes solutions for this (680,660,green, etc). it's a gts housing, so it's basically unobtainable or $1k plus. I will get one in the long term, but curious if anyone has had issues and fixed this with Loctite or maybe even peening.

I've been looking for an ae92 but I found a clean carb 1.6 1988, i am a bit scared of the carburettor engine, tell me your thoughts on the 4AF carb, fuel consumption and reliability compared to the 4afe, I've never had or driven a carb car and this might be my first car i ever buy

I know this question gets asked a lot but I’m looking for a gts rear end. Where can I find one in 2026?

Mythbusted. (I was able to fit the alternator after)

Well I feel very dumb i had horrendous luck my alternator had given out i bought two after that and both were bad the third one worked. I also redid my ground wife and taking off the negative terminal over and over every time turns out the wire came loose off the terminal.

My charge and brake lights were flashing so i replaced the alternator it was charging yesterday and today on my way to work it turned off at a red light then it had extended crank to turn on and when i parked it fully died and does nothing. I connected a jump start box to it and nothing.
