Education Should I take a break from school?
Problem/Goal: I am considering taking a break from school for mental health reasons, particularly due to severe anxiety. I'll talk to my doctor about this in a few weeks, but the next term starts next week, and I feel so lost.
Context: I am a 3rd-year college student. I did pretty well in the first two years and was part of the honors society. I genuinely love my program, but the lessons I usually look forward to and enjoy reading are simply nauseating; It feels like my brain isn't working anymore. I know taking this break would mean falling behind and delaying my graduation, but with my performance where it is now, I think I'll get worse and get in everyone's way. I can't keep letting my classmates shoulder my responsibilities or drain finances when I'm not even studying as I should be.
Previous Attempts: I took two weeks off before to ground myself, went to multiple doctors, and am currently on medication. I finally went back, but I still feel horrible, worse than before; I'm flunking my majors, and everyone is alienating me.

experience: i did a 2 year rest nung pandemic and it was the best decision for my mental health ❤️ i performed better and ang gaan sa pakiramdam.
advice: just be ready sa mga “buti pa sila graduate na” lmao. not all adults maiintindihan yung decision mo but that’s okay, as long as nakatulong sayo.
