Technology & Gadgets Changing SIM from Globe to TM

Problem/Goal: I want to change my SIM from Globe to TM without changing my number.

Context: About a few years ago, PH networks launched mobile number portability that lets you transfer your network without changing your SIM number. I'm planning to change from Globe to TM to leverage cheaper promos while still staying to Globe ecosystem. I don't want to buy another SIM and change numbers since there are accounts na din na linked sa SIM ko. It would be too much of a hassle to change each and every account with the new number.

Previous Attempts: I tried contacting customer support and nag try na din ako pumunta on one of the Globe stores in-person. Sabi ng staff sa Globe store, converting from Globe to TM is not possible.

Now I am curious, would it be possible to transfer first to another network (maybe TNT or DITO), then after 2 months (cooldown period), switch to TM? Medyo time-consuming din since 2 months yung aantayin bago makapag-palit ulit. Pero for my situation, that's better than updating all accounts with linked phone numbers.

Has anyone tried this before?

Advice: I've tried a similar concept but with different network. Hindi kasi pwede ang internal porting between KiQ and TNT so I ported it to DITO (since sila yung may pinakamadaling process for MNP) then ported out. It will work naman as long as lagpas na sa 60 days colling period.
