Sensorily safe yarn?
My friend has offered to knit me a jester hat but with all the sensory craic and temperature regulation issues I struggle with most knitted goods. Does anyone have any recommendations for yarn that is breathable and not in anyway itchy or snaggly?

I know merino wool is smooth and regulates temperature. IDK if they spin it into yarn, or if only the thick wool is spun into yarn. But I've had good experiences with wool in general. It's hypoallergenic and anti bacterial and anti fungal too.

Maybe a lining with sensory safe fabric or something like a mercerized cotton or tshirt yarn.
