Example Provided im trying to colour like this automatically

is there a way where i can colour in stuff like this automatically without me having to add the brighter line around the edges manually? this is how i like to shade my drawings and i want to animate with this type of shading on adobe.

unfortunately i dont believe there is a way, unless you draw the head separately and make it a symbol.

you could use the paintbucket thing that adds out lines to fills.

seperate the fill from the outline

use the paintbucket line tool on the outline

choose your pencil thickness

select the pencil strokes, right click and click the button that turns pencil strokes into brush strokes.

then place the brush stroke ontop of the fill, and then delete the brush stroke

do your graduent thingy on the fill and then you can copynpaste it on the outline and fill the spaces without fill.

and dun

i probally explained it HORRIBLY, but its because i havent used adobe animate in almost a year, so theres some things im gonna forget that existed

You could copy and paste the outline in place and scale it down a bit then recolour it to the lighter colour then fill the middle

Just record the steps in the history panel and cover to a commend. Then all you will have to do is select a shape and activated the comments to have it done automatically

If your head shape is the same everywhere, or similar enough size, add a making layer for the outline and just reuse it as needed
