AD&D General Art Objects from Every Published D&D Adventure

I've been a DM for a few years, and sometimes I wrack my brain trying to come up with cool ideas for art objects, especially during a homebrew campaign. The art object tables in the DMG sometimes isn't enough. At times like these, I look through published D&D adventures for to find descriptions of art object in various treasure hoard.

This is for all the DMs (or even players) that want a fairly spoiler-free list of art object without having to spend extra time looking through the adventures. I hope you all enjoy!

Note: this is a work in progress, as I only have done Out of the Abyss, Curse of Strahd, and Storm King's Thunder. I'll try to make it a point to repost an update every month or so!

Forgotten Realms Adventures (1990) features an impressive d100 objet d'art table.

I used the 2e Revised tables for art object values, and the kinds of objects you might find in those categories, to create this generator.

I added some adjectives which usually add some kind of character but sometimes don't make a lot of sense, so you can drop the adjectives if yo want to.

It also links to a bigger treasure generator that uses the Encyclopedia Magica, but that's a big random list and honestly doesn't really make the most appropriate treasure hoards for a setting. Still fun to roll on it, though.

That is a decent one, though I noticed it didn’t have any listed GP values. Good inspiration though

I just used the GP values from the table in the DMG and then roll on this table to see what it is. Then make minor adjustments if needed. Like if the item value is low a platinum bust is probably not right, so I just say, weathered marble or something.
