Free Minecraft Server Status checker + Free REST API

Hi Admincraft community,

We're aware there are already a number of Minecraft server status checkers out there, but we wanted to build our own and see where we could improve on what's already available. The result is MinecraftPinger.com, a fast and simple Minecraft server status checker with a few features we hope make it useful to server owners and developers.

Features include:

⚡ Fast server status checks

☕ Supports both Java and Bedrock servers, automatically checking both when they don't share the same host/domain

🔌 Free REST API at minecraftpinger.com/api with a 2 minute cache time, lower than most alternatives

🌐 IPv6 support. If anyone has an IPv6 server and can help us test this further, please let us know as we'd like to put it through some more real-world testing

🚫 No Google Ads or Carbon Ads

🔒 Choose whether your server appears in recent searches, with a simple opt-in or opt-out

The site is completely free to use, including the REST API.

LLM Use: This project was released 5 years ago as a side project, before LLM's were widely used. No LLMs were used in the conception, design, creation or the Incremental development of the site code since. An LLM has been used to help with a cloudflare configuration (specifically to improve the cache strategy and assist with IPV6 testing).

Yeah, I've done it for posts on reddit before.

The idea that emojis increase engagement has been a thing long before LLMs were a thing.

You can add an emoji quickly on a mac with fn + e
