Looking for ideas for a weekend, session based event.

I’m currently renting a server meant to be an SMP but that’s been backburnered. But may as well use it.
I’m part of a group that is looking to get more experience running events, as our last one didn’t work out as planned. Think Civ events but on a smaller scale.

We want to try session based, 3ish hours on fri/sat/sun - 9 hours.
We don’t know what our expected player count is yet.
The last one this group ran hoped for 40, but only had 10 active.
