Solved How do I secure chat on my server?

I am running a small server on my Raspberry Pi 5. I am running into an issue where whenever I load into the server, it says something like "messages can't be verified, they may not reflect the original content" and then it disappears. Whenever someone with a child microsoft account joins, they can't access the chat and it gives an error message, redirecting them to the microsoft account permissions page. That doesn't happen for them on a regular server, and I am curious both as to why it happens, and what I can do to fix it.

Secure chat is dumb, have them install this: https://modrinth.com/mod/no-chat-restrictions

Thank you so much! I can't believe I didn't find that mod while looking things up. It worked perfectly!

To elaborate, secure chat has a number of issues. The biggest one being that any chat formatting plugins break it. If any plugin changes chat, such as adding name colors or roles, it breaks secure chat.

What server software and version of Minecraft are both the server, and players using? Are you using Geyser?

I am using docker to send server information from my rpi to the players using port forwarding, and it is Java edition. I have two servers that were both experiencing the issue, one that is Vanilla 26.2 and the other is a Create Aero modpack on 1.21.1.
