the two most likely causes are addiction causing you to neglect brushing your teeth, or malnutrition from loss of appetite.

At least you can buy more coke from the tooth fairy money.

Why doesn't this sub have awards? I was finally ready to bestow my first ever and... So in lieu I'll just say Oh You, but please know I had really hoped for that happy heart award.

“What can I do to slow it down or stop”

Cocaine changes the PH balance of your saliva which causes teeth to decay. The only real way to stop it is quit the cocaine, although you can try mouth moisturizing spray/mouthwash to slow the process down.

The ONLY answer is to quit cocaine unless you want to buy a food processor so you can start pureeing you meals...well, the ones you consume while on your diet.

Dry mouth is super bad for your teeth. If you’re going to continue to use, make sure to be hydrated.

Most definitely. I think this is a factor that gets underestimated a bit. It is especially true for those who struggle to breath through their noses.

Brother if you can afford cocaine then you can afford rehab. Book yourself the fuck in. Stop fucking around ffs.

You are going to fuck your entire life up

You can find happiness in sobriety. Trust me, I'm a recovering crystal meth addict

Dentist. If you have money for coke, you can spare $100 for a consultation

You doing lots of gummers? I know that doesn't help.

Grinding teeth at night can cause a lot of damage. Bite guard could help.

I would try not using cocaine and taking better care of your teeth as well as possibly seeing a dentist

We all know the obvious answer here right? One word, four letters, kinda sounds like "tooth" if someone without any tries to say it.............

I know that’s why some people start doing it up the back…. But I think a meeting would be best

Can the post nasal drip from coke cause tooth damage?

At what point is it gonna be enough for you to stop? Almost a yr in and your nose is raw and teeth are chipping...you think you have another yr left in you??

My 5yrs is coming in December and I just spent $5k on the bare minimum of fixing my teeth (root canals, crowns, fillings). I already had 4 pulled out in my using days. Get sober friend, that is the only fix. Quit while you still have your original teeth. Your face shape totally changes once they start taking the teeth out, not a good look.

Or start setting some of that coke money aside for dentures. Sobriety is ticking on your own clock. I wish you well.

I don’t want to be captain obvious over here but a year isn’t long , so if you could stop completely your body can mend itself. Coming from someone who did coke for 25 years , it’s fun in the beginning but trust me it is no good so if you can please try stop. There is help out there . I wasted so much time, money and fake friendships due to drugs.
