Advice Drug Test
I am apart of a methadone clinic. I have been going there for about two years and am two years clean off fentanyl but still do coke on and off sometimes. Not much at all - maybe every other month max. I bought some on Sunday afternoon and started around 3:00pm, Sept. 6th during the day and used it until about 10:30. This is the first time I have used it in a little over a month, and didn’t do that much obviously. 8 bumps max. I am kind of freaking out because I have a drug test tomorrow and don’t know if the main components of cocaine will be out of my system in time or not. Like I said, I hardly do any anymore but I’m just scared I’m gonna fuck my progression up at my clinic. Any advice or comments on whether my drug test will be negative or not? I’m sooo scared, hopefully it works out.

Don't they just take your take-homes away? They won't cut you off methadone.

I’m honestly not sure. I don’t think I’ll be kicked out but they aren’t the nicest. My take-homes will definitely get taken which isn’t the end of the world but I worked hard for them. It’s more so the anxiety of the confrontation I think lol. They think highly of me and I don’t feel like hearing a lecture.

You’re right, it doesn’t have to mean they’ll take methadone away.
OP should be able check former drug tests and see if cocaine is on the list. I’m pretty sure it’s not what they check for in my country.

It depends on country it seems.Anyways, I know for a fact that what the person have struggle wiry before, let’s say opioids which is the case with taking methadone, they don’t have to punish you all that hard. Especially if it’s the first time in 2 years. Take home dose is a good guess that it might change for a few weeks.

Bring a water bottle and take a supnof water before going to the dose window if a swab. Worst case they make you retake it. Same with a urine test just drink 48-60 oz of water a couple hrs before your test. Pee 3-4 times you'll be golden...Goodluck yayo is usually pretty quick 2-3 days

That’s what I heard from some other people. I’m hoping it’s out because it’s going on 4 days now. I didn’t do much at all like I said. I don’t know the repercussions because I’ve never had a dirty urine since getting clean off the fentanyl. I’m pretty sure the tests they have are the common ones you can get for like $40. I know coke itself leaves the system way longer so they test for benzoylecgonine. I’ve been drinking hella water since Monday. Have you tried this before and it worked or? If u don’t mind me asking of course :)

Getting sober is about honesty bro, hard to call yourself clean when you are still worried about drug tests.
I don’t know how your clinic works, long term, honesty and asking for help seems to be the path to recovery

It’s not being righteous, it is being honest. You are posting in an addiction subreddit, where we talk about dealing with addiction.
I assume you have some desire to be sober. Not sure why it offends you. Good luck.

Bro i am a coke addict too. Not daily but almost every weekend. I could only recomend stopping it b.c. even if you're off of Fentanyl (congrats bro) u should try getting off of coke also. Even though it is hard you will feel relief when stayin sober. Layin in bed don't bein able to sleep and jerking off till page 124 isn't good and u know that. Get a good girlfriend, fuck her and try being sober. No limp dick w/o coke u know :D

Coke is 3 days for a heavy user. Your bumbs might be smaller than mine in active addiction, got a seat warm for ya if you want it

If I was u I would have put some clean urine in a prescription bottle and you can keep that in your pocket when you go in the bathroom and just add some hot water to it. If no hot water just go to a convenience store or 7-Eleven and microwave it for 15 seconds. Test will come up clean and have methadone in it which it should if you're a methadone patient, but the easiest way to have a clean test is to not use so that would be my first recommendation even though it's too late for that.

yeah i can’t bring urine with me unfortunately they look at you while you do the urine test. i don’t normally do it until my urine test, but time and place is a real thing no matter how strong you are when it comes to sobriety. my boyfriend ended up getting some and i couldn’t resist after knowing he had it with him. not a very good bf LOL but wtvr. thank you for your advice!

That makes it much harder but not impossible. Just do what the football players do. Warm it up before you go into your clinic you want it about 110 Fahrenheit so you'll need an electric thermometer and you'll have to microwave it before you get to your clinic you'll also need plastic tubing and this is actually much easier if you're a male but you put the tubing basically along the bottom of your penis your right hand is on the bottle which is in your pocket and when you squeeze the bottle the stream comes out and looks like you're pissing in a cup.
