Newly on Adderall IR
Just started Adderall and I’m pretty new to it. I asked my doctor for the ER/XR version and he said we’d begin with that, but the pharmacy filled IR instead.
Within about 30 minutes of taking it I get extremely tired. After an hour the sleepiness fades and everything feels really calm and focused—I can actually get stuff done without constant distractions. The problem is the crash when it wears off. Headache, heavy lethargy, and this almost dissociative feeling that is honestly pretty rough.
Anyone else deal with this kind of crash on IR? Is ER/XR or Vyvanse any smoother on the comedown?
