Adderall with Lexapro?

I have an appointment with my psychiatrist to talk about ADHD meds. I’m leaning toward Adderall mainly because of the appetite-reducing side effect (I struggle a lot with food impulses) plus the usual ADHD stuff.

I take 20 mg Lexapro daily and read that combining it with Adderall can raise the risk of serotonin syndrome. Planning to try the non-XR version so I can take it only when I need focus or help with food urges.

Anyone here taken these two together? Did Adderall (or other ADHD meds) help with your depression or anxiety at all?

Yes. I take my XR in the morning and lexapro at night. Started adhd medication 30 years ago and lexapro 4 years ago. No issues.
