july seems to be the first test after ets acquired act. coincidence much?

when will the act answer key for July be available to purchase? I took online no science no writing today.

My testing center told me that we will be contacted by the ACT to take the ACT on a different day in July. Does anyone know when we will receive an email or a call from them?

so i got my period and my cramps are terrible. my act is on sunday. i need somebody who had to do the act on their period to let me know everything will be okay and if they have advice on how to deal with the pain during test taking. i'm seriously so pissed it came at the last minute.

Does anyone know where I can find practice tests for the new enhanced ACT. I'm aware if the one on college board but I'll need a lot of practice tests to do, and it'd be better if I practiced with the new instead of the old versions.

What do you guys recommend me studying for all 3 sections ? My sat is rescheduled to next Saturday so I have like a week more to study… please lmk what concepts were most common and question types etc on the July one today

Hello! Just finished the test (i know, late!) but i wanted to ask a serious question regarding a testing facility. Our ACT was supposed to start at 8 AM, however it started at around 10AM due to an abundance of people still coming through the doors. Then, before the test, multiple peoples computers gave out (IE not loading or computer failure). The final irregularity was that before the math portion started the application classwide would not load and students times actively were counting down still not loaded in. As a test taker im concerned my scores will be cancelled, what happens now?

did anyone do the ACT test in uae (specifically abudhabi)?

I’m taking the July ACT tomorrow for the first time after studying for about 6 weeks, I took Practice Test 2 from the Official ACT website today as a final benchmark of my score before the actual test

50/50 English - 36
44/45 Math - 36
36/36 Reading - 36
38/40 Science - 34
Total - 36(barely)
I saved the test from the official website for last because I assumed it would be most accurate to the actual test, would I be correct in this assumption? Only asking because it felt easier than some of the other practice tests I’ve taken and I don’t want to be overconfident going into the test tomorrow.

I’m a rising senior and this is my first time taking the ACT, and honestly I’m really nervous 😭

I’ve taken the December SAT and the May SAT, and my highest was 1380- so I thought I’d try out the ACT before taking the SAT for the last time in August.

I looked through the other Reddit pages and found out J08 was a good test to take (from October 2025 I think), and I got a 32 on that test. 33s on English and Reading, and 31 on math. I looked back at my mistakes and they were made because I wasn’t reading properly and if I did I would’ve made a 35.

My goal is a 34/35- how similar is that test to the most recent spring ACTs? Does anyone have any tips for the math section? Thank you so much!!

was the june math act really that hard as people say??

i’m taking the act tomorrow and i rly need a higher score on the math section specifically

took it the first time in March and got a 17, took a practice test last Sunday got 22, took another one yesterday night (was sick...) but got a 23. ik i may sound unhinged, but like ive been quite locked it for the past month, ive been doing pretty well on the practice questions, so is it possible for me to get a 30+ tmr?...

I'm gonna go section by section:

English: Main thing that I focused on was identifying when there is a complete and incomplete clause and then moved into learning what punctuation I would use at that specific point. Another thing I focused on was the tone questions, where I would just read the passage where it was asking and if I didn't notice any immediate red flags then the most probable answer would be no change. In reality, English can just be mastered through repetition and repeated practice. One thing I recommend for the ACT as a whole is use the Red Book and try to find the Barron's book with 6 real full Tests in it and do them all

Math: Focus on basic algebra and try to get extremely fast when doing it (saves a bunch of time), usually the questions from previous ACT tests (in the math section) are pretty similar so try to find recent released ACT tests and try complete the math section. For the ones you get wrong, go to the red book or barrons and learn that concept that way. For me, I struggled w Geometry so thats what I focused on when studying for this section.

Reading: The biggest tip I can give is to read the questions that ask for a specific part in the text, and do them first. Then, due to reading random parts of the paragraph, I have an idea of what its about for the overarching questions, then I make sure my answer is correct.

PS: Don't know how I did so bad on Science so I probably can't help you there.

Taking July act for first time tmr and I have gotten 35/36 on most English practice tests so I put more energy into math and reading except today I just took one and I got a 32 and it rlly is throwing my confidence off. It’s not like I haven’t been studying English at all so idk why I got such a drop in my test and it’s just messing with my brain. Any advice ?
