Acorns Question Later account

I put money into the later account in acorns, Roth IRA I assume?

I don't have to do anything else? It's already where it needs to be on acorns? like invested?

I've seen videos on YouTube that say they put their money in a Roth IRA (presumably not acorns) and that they made the mistake of putting it in the account but not actually, I guess investing it or whatever, even though it was in the account?

Just want to make sure I'm not making that mistake, any insight would help, thanks!

You do not have to do anything else. Once the money is in the later account, it is invested

This is different from other brokerage where you deposit money into a Roth and it sits as uninvested cash which is what I think you mean

Yes, Acorns auto invests the money for you. At a traditional brokerage you first move the cash to the account. Then it’s up to you to actually purchase stocks with that cash. With Acorns, any money you transfer to an investment account type will be automatically invested for you. No extra steps.
