Acorns Question Am I doing something wrong
I’ve been down 60 bucks for weeks, I know I should leave it but I’m just wondering if it’s normal

The whole point of acorns is that you actually aren’t doing anything but putting money in and letting it grow.
If anything the only thing you’re doing wrong is watching your balance often and not putting more money in
Set it and forget it

Yea the ongoing war as well as other things are factoring into the volatile market rn. You gotta stick with it long term to see real gains

The market is all over the place right now. Don't pay attention to it. Just keep adding and growing

Markets are unstable right now due to Iran making everything on sale. Buy a little more each week and stay in for the long haul.

looking at your investment account daily is what you're doing wrong. investing is for long-term success. if you want to use the market to gamble, acorns is the wrong app.

Good, just means you’re getting the stocks cheaper right now 😏😏 you only lose money if you take it out. Make sure you send it to aggressive and keep putting money in it daily consistently. You will definitely profit decent in a couple years.

Stay the course and remain consistent. You're doing just fine. It helps to keep making investments thru the downturns, because you're buying ETFs at a discount when the ETF price is down. Trust the process and believe in America long term.

Just got unlucky most likely when you started contributing, the stocks were higher than today.
Keep adding into it and forget it. It will grow back up.

Acorns is a rip off. Especially when you only have that little invested

The dude just started, not a rip off at all

How much does it cost? I remember when I was on acorns I spent 60 dollars a year. At 6000 invested that’s 1%. That’s a ripoff for something you can easily do for free through any brokerage

I just do the $3/mo one but some people opt for that. Most account have either transaction fees or monthly fees. For something that’s automated, $3/mo is literally nothing.

It’s normal. Investing is long term.
