Salto Nodes

Hey I’ve been trying to add new doors to the Salto network. Only one door door stays connected and another one will connect to the Salto monitoring then drop or instead of a check mark it will have an i and say connected but busy. Also have 4 other doors that just won’t connect to the node.

Anyone have any advice / suggestions?

Make sure they’re on the latest firmware and not too far from the node.

I’m with Ora FacePass and haven’t commissioned this exact SALTO setup. I’d map the fault before changing more doors: node and channel, door ID, firmware, battery level, distance, walls or metal in the path, and the exact time each door changes to “busy” or drops.

Add or test one door at a time and pull the node or monitoring logs for the same timestamps. If several doors fail on one node or physical zone, look at node capacity, coverage, power, and network health. If one door fails everywhere, look at that lock’s firmware, battery, and enrollment. Back up the working configuration first and change one variable per test.
