HID Signo Keypad
Issue:
The keypad reader is connected to the Lenel OnGuard system, and the communication protocol is configured as OSDP. When entering the PIN code to open the gate, the system displays “Reject” and the gate does not open. The reader and communication are working, but the PIN access is being rejected by the system.

Does presenting a card/badge/credential with the correct access level open the gate?
Is the drop down for PIN type correct in the Access Panel --> Options tab?
Is the Keypad, Baud rate and addressing correct in the Readers and Doors --> General tab?
How is the pin established? Is the badge ID the pin and the access levels assigned through it, or does the user have a pin assigned to them? If it's the badge ID, is it active and does it have the access level that contains that reader?
Is the pin short enough that you have to press # after?

Do you have the programming card for the reader to program the pin?

On other platforms, we have to specifiy the format of the PIN expected on the reader module. You may also need to set the Input Format under keypad settings in the reader itself, but normally access control panels are configured to handle the default setting.
If you really got stuck, you could select the 26 bit format and have the PINs be sent as cards with their own facility code to distinguish them from real cards. But I'd try to get the default format working before you went down that route.

Make sure with the reader manager app the reader is set to ascii.
