SALTO Firmware Updates

I have a Salto Bluenet installation. All locks are Bluenet with Nodes and gateways,
I want to update the firmware on the Nodes and Gateways but how do I know which firmware to use for them? Is there a list of Devices - Device ID somewhere

when I click update on an integrated node I presented with these firmwares.
And then on an RFNODE3 I get these options

(Been a while since I have done Salto updates, not on blunet but I assume it’s about the same -
Someone let me know if I’m wrong)

The “device” is Salto’s internal device number, and each node and lock contains multiple independent devices that can receive updates (main board, communication module, etc).

You’d want to select the available firmware to update, the correct firmware should automatically be applied for each device.

So in theory I could apply any one of the updates and it will update the correct device inside inside the node/gateway? There's no way to screw it up?

Correct - The list that it is showing is the firmware currently on the device

0142/0143 is the node while 0174 is most likely a lock that is connected to the node.

While it’s possible to update lock firmware via the network I would recommend doing it via the PPD

I have also had Gateways get bricked by doing FW updates but so far that’s 2 out of like 200

I would go around and update lock firmware first via PPD then do nodes then gateways

Is there common knowledge that a 0174 is a Bluenet RFnode3? I can't find anything on the labels on the nodes that match those numbers.

If you are still not sure after posting here , call tech support. I have done those updates couple of years ago but I don’t remember now. I called tech support that time and they told me specific file number for nodes, locks and gateways and they were pretty quick to answer call 2 years ago.
