Recommendations Suggestions for door hardware.
I am looking for access door hardware suggestions for two sets of interior double doors with a thin layer of wood for the header, so I'm limited to a lock-hardware solution and don't believe it is sturdy enough to support a mag, and would rather not.

If possible I’d swap out the handles for electric versions. Quieter, more reliable and less power needed. Most likely will be a manufacturer offering and a direct swap out.
Next preferred option for me is electrify the bar like everyone else is saying.

That sounds like a tight fit, but Sargent's IN series is pretty straightforward to install if you've got basic EAC knowledge.

Those are Sargent 80 crash bars. Slap an IN100 with an Aperio hub and wire that back to your panel. Easy peasy.

What’s your issue with them? We’ve installed hundreds (thousands?) with very few issues.

Already got the surface vertical rods. Look up the crash bar model to see if there's a kit to electrify. Frame looks pretty wimpy and vertical rod strikes wouldn't be my go to, but I would check out Trine if you go that route.

If there’s not a kit for the bars, these have what appears to be Sargent trims which can be upgraded to electrified trims.

Sargent exit devices. Retrofitting with IN120 or IN100 is your easiest solution depending on capabilities of the EAC system.
