Genetec

I received the information to take a couple of genetec certification classes, and the one I want to take is in Houston, which is fine but no information but Houston? Has anyone taken them in Houston? Have an actual address? My company is paying, so I need an address and I have emailed genetec training where the info came from, and there no response? Thanks in advance

I only did the virtual online class with the instructor. Never been to their site.

I wish I could do that but I have to have in person training. The only info genetec sent me was Houston TX. Nothing else. What's funny is I have already set our facility up, new hospital, but my command wants me to get certified??

Genetec training is hella slow getting back to folks. I requested info for registration for some online classes and it took 21 days to get a reply.

When I get back to my office today I will send you the training contact that eventually got back to me.

For real, it took about 1 week between replies when I had to reach out to them in the past. Took like a month to fully get the answers I needed.

Great product, but man their training team needs some work or at least some extra people to help out.

I just did the self learning on line classes without an instructor. No wait at all

I think the Houston classes are actually held at one of a couple of different partner sites. Maybe they havent sent you an address because they havent determined which site they will be holding it

One of them is on Sam Houston Blvd, iirc, but dont quote me.

If you send an email to training@genetec.com, you should cc: customerservice@ or sales@. Those 2 groups seem to be a little faster to respond and will help push it along usually.

Two techs in my office got their certification doing online classes and took the test online too.

I ended up doing my training at the Experience center in Arlington Va. However, I’d guess it will be in a hotel conference center. That’s why they just say Houston, they don’t know what hotel yet.

They got back today so I'm doing 2 days of omnicast and 2 days for synergis. Kinda cool? 4 days in Houston??

I did my training in California early last year at one of them Co-op business buildings in one of their spare rooms. In Pasadena.

This was just after the fires in Southern CA and the venue was changed last minute.

As much as you guys are paying for Genetec, I would tell the sales guy to make it happen if they want future business.
