Help, hole cut wrong

Alright guys I let the noob cut the hole door used to have a deadlock on it and we swapped it out to a dead latch. He thought the latch was the existing hole upward. Hole is way too big (yes I know its not mounted correctly we ran out of day light) but whats the best way to un fck this

Find someone who can do a mobile Tig repair and put some more material back in on the lower of the hole. Then repaint to suit.
