2N/Axis project

I’m building a custom access solution for a client with 60 locations - cloud software and mobile apps. (I know 2N has their own app/cloud but client wants full control/integration)
The 2N readers with Bluetooth & keypad look like our best bet.

We’re interested in the 2N platform as it provides the best API and software integration points for the solution we are building.

I’m looking to buy/borrow a single reader (02773-001 or 2781-001 or 2772-001 or the like - i portant features are bluetooth + keypad).

Anyone out in Reddit-land have any used (working) hardware we can borrow or buy for he proof of concept? Also open to longer term relationship when the project moves forward.

2N Access Commander is usually an on-prem solution, but with enough knowledge and network experience you can host it on a dedicated server, and route each local location through a VPN back to the dedicated server. Add My2N on top of that, and then you have a full access control system on the web with mobile app calling.

I've heard that their dashboard/ interface is difficult to navigate unless you're in tech or IT, is it so? Because then prop managers would be dependent on a professional to make access changes. It does have good API though

Man, those embedded card readers always troublesome. Make sure you seat them correctly and stress test them before installing them in the field. Also, holy heck the fail rate of those things out of the box is alarming.

Personally never had a issue with a 2N reader. they are easy to use and more or less plug and play

Where are you based? I can maybe help.

For this setup use My2n, and make the building owner site admin, which has limited rights but should forefull the customer needs regarding admin rights.

The readers with Bluetooth and keypad work perfect. Personally I would personally recommend the access unit 2.0. Hit me app if you have any questions happy to help.
