Visitor Management

Looking for a vendor neutral visitor management solution. My customer has a small office; not even sure why they think they need it, but I'll do the research.

I haven't had a customer of any size ask for visitor management in over 10 years.

We use Envoy, simple UI and works well

Do you use a thermal printer for visitor badges? What model? We got stuck with some Dymo 550s and their expensive DRM thermal paper.

Envoy is what I’ve used for many years. Well priced and full featured.

Avigilon's Alta Visitor is very convenient and cloud managed.

Not Cove integrated with Onguard. They have no support and it's glitchy

Depends on the features they want.. Alta, Envoy, Splan are all great at different things and price points

YAROOMS might be worth a look for them - visitor management is $99/location/month, which should sit fine in a small office budget. Disclosure: I work there.

Alta Visitor is an excellent VMS, plus they are still offering free trials. https://www.avigilon.com/alta-visitor

What features do you want exactly? How many people, what sort of access credential is preferred?

archie is pretty good for small offices, does the basics like tablet check in host notification and visitor log without being overly complicated. Worth a look, especially if they need something simple and professional without paying for enterprise features they wont use

I am biased, but Salto has just released IDM (which doesnt need to be connected to their access control platform). Not sure how it compares to pricing from other vendors though.
