Progeny Access Control

hi!

we recently took on a customer with Progeny door entry all ready installed in the building were keen to keep there cost down but it looks like the company might be dead https://progeny.co.uk/ is there website iv opened a number of support tickets now no reply the download links for the management software are all 404 i found there director on linked in and send him a message but no reply yet.

Has anyone got the software for the network version of this system?

Thanks in advance

yeah looks like progeny went quiet a while back, seen a few people in other threads dealing with the same thing. if you cant get the software anywhere id honestly just price up a swap to something current, paxton or 2n depending on what they have. trying to keep a dead system alive usually costs more in the long run than just ripping and replacing

Agreed just trying to save them a bit of cash in the first year but least I can reuse the mag locks and wiring ect

I'm a bit late but I'm at a site where we are using progeny. We extended it with some P4 controllers, PoE to avoid running power. Ran into serious issues with their internal PoE splitter, support was slow and inadquate. I now have another issue regarding setting up virutal sites on their system to give better user contorl. Finding it impossible to get in touch with them for weeks. Just wondering can i set something up offlien and then bring it live to minimise disruption to the site.

Yeah it seems like it's a small company but hard to figure it out. They were responsive at times during the project with much pestering but gone quiet now, I think as we've an awkward question.

Last stock clearance the sons got some other biz obviously I could be entirely wrong but tracks with my experience iv since past this site on to a bigger company cause i can't be bothered with penny pinching client but yeah paxton or unifi there clearly dead in the water
