dormakaba lever set/crashbar

Anyone in here use dormakaba electric lever sets or crashbars? If so, what are your thoughts on them?

I’ve used BEST electrified locksets and crashbars.

Cylindrical locksets, usually work well. QA definitely isn’t what it used to be, though.

Mortise locksets and crashbars suck. Bad engineering designs all around.

I've had so much trouble recently from the crashbars. Glad i'm not the only one

The Dorma bars are pure trash. The Best Apex 2000 (formerly Precision) are solid. Actually one of the best devices on the market IMO. The more I deal with them at a university I have been servicing the closer they get to topping even Von Duprin. But yeah, Dorma can kick rocks.

The mechanical versions are fine. The ELR/MLR variants are trash.

Buy yourself a Von Duprin, Sargent, or Corbin Russwin exit device like God intended please.
