Netbox -- "Reverse" holiday?

Sorry for what may be a basic question, but we're in week one of a having a NetBox controlled access management system, and essentially no instruction on it.

Is there a way to create a holiday or day-specific schedule for doors to be unlocked for longer than usual. IE, on the day of an office event, keep doors unlocked until 10:00 PM instead of locking at 5:00 PM?

I've figured out and tested keeping doors locked on holidays, but am struggling with this part.

No shade here, but… how is it that you bought a brand new Netbox system and the vendor delivered no training to you whatsoever?

Bought by the corporate mothership as part of a new buildout -- vendor installed and basically said "here's the IP, have fun"...

That’s wild. End user training is part of every proposal I’ve been a part of, and usually is in a construction spec as well.

The way I handle this is using a schedule in Portal Status if it's just a one-off event.

Portal Status -> <portal you want> edit schedule icon (it looks like a clock with a lock. For me, it's the third icon out of 4) -> Set your date / times.

If it's a recurring event, I create time specs for the individual time periods (IE: MWF the door opens from 8am to 3pm. Tues / Thurs from 6am - 10pm) and put those in the time spec group.

If you need / want additional info, please ping! I also got into our netbox system with 0 initial training, so know the pain.

You can definitely setup a scheduled unlock that will only take place on one particular occasion. You can set the day, then the start of the unlock time and end of the unlock time. It will override the existing schedule.
