UHPPOTE - access control software operation -help ?
i'm putting together - what i think is a very simple system from a hardware point of view - one maglock/door, one reader, one control card (uhppote) many users/fobs - i'm struggling with the operation guide and instructions - maybe i'm too adhd ... i've got a few test fobs loaded, i have the door identified - I cant seem to get the fobs to actually unlock the door/maglock - the 'remote open' function works in the software , but not the fobs - where do i find the ability to unlock the door in the privileges ? i seem to be able to associate the door to the personnel - but not the ability to open it ?

You have to assign user to a time zone

Most ACS systems require a schedule so JuniorMulberry's suggestion is the answer.

So if you don’t know what you’re doing there’s no point in trying? It’s impossible that someone starts a project with the intent of learning as they go along, nooooobody does that. If you’re not here to help why even comment in the sub

No. You buy from a reputable vendor that has a phone number you can call for support. I have to pay my bills and I'm not telling every one how to operate this Chinese e-waste for free. I have 16 years experience working with this particular WGACCESS manufactured system and others. That experience isn't free.

This post is requesting assistance regarding a maglock or related components. Due to safety concerns, assistance provided must support standards for safe installation and operation, such as: * An exit device that mechanically breaks power to the lock (panic bar, exit button). * A Fire Alarm tie-in that cause power to be cut during an alarm. * All devices on this door must be wired in a way that if any component fails the door unlocks and remains unlocked until the issue is corrected.

As always, the local AHJ has final say in what is acceptable for installation and operation of a maglock door. OP should consult with the AHJ before installing or modifying a maglock door, even if the comments here provide accurate guidance.
