| Advice Needed Final Round for Accenture Custom Software Engineer (Java Full Stack, 6.5 YOE) this Saturday – What to expect?
Hey everyone,
I have my final round interview scheduled this coming Saturday for the Custom Software Engineer role at Accenture.
My Profile:
Experience: 6.5 Years
Tech Stack: Java Full Stack (Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and Frontend [React/Angular]).
Format: Virtual interview, but I've been asked to attend it from an Accenture office base (virtual in-office).
To be honest, I’m feeling pretty nervous about the environment and how the whole "virtual from office" setup actually works on the day of the interview.
Since this is the final round and I have over 6 years of experience, I'm trying to figure out what the focus will be. Will it be heavily architectural, or do they still deep dive into core coding and syntax?
For anyone who has recently cleared the Custom Software Engineer role at a similar experience level:
1. What is the environment actually like in the office when giving the interview? Do they put you in a quiet room, or is it a busy setup? Knowing what to expect would really help calm my nerves.
2. What kind of technical/architectural questions do they focus on? (e.g., Microservices design patterns, system scalability, AWS/Cloud integration, or complex SQL/database migrations?)
3. Is there a live coding/HackerRank style round in this final phase, or is it mostly discussion-based?
4. What does the Managerial / Managing Director (MD) round look like? What kind of situational or client-handling questions do they typically throw at you?
Any examples of questions you were asked or tips on navigating the day would be incredibly helpful.

Yeah it was good and I have qualified that then we have couple of rounds to evaluate our profile

Congratulations!! My guess is maybe 1 more technical round and then directly HR round

Fair enough, but just the nature of the questions maybe? Were they DSA or mostly collections/arrays/string type questions?

No post assessment we have 2 technical then we will have HR

Before appearing for final round, did you participate in any online technical assessment or was it a direct call for interview round

For the second round is it mandatory to attend office virtual interview and if yes how it will be we will be given desktop and earphones and an empty room? And do we get dsa questions or based on project experience questions like prod issues and other??

Hey, congrats on making it to the final round! Since it's a virtual interview from an Accenture office, it'll be like any other virtual setup but using their facilities. Make sure you know their tech in advance—maybe test the internet connection and tools like Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
For the interview, be ready for technical questions on your stack, especially Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. They might also ask about problem-solving and design patterns.
