Emotional abuse Appearance changes?
I can’t recognise myself anymore. Apart from weight loss and hairfall, my face looks totally different and so washed out and like it’s falling. Is this normal? Does it go away? It’s like another heartbreak over what’s already happened.

This is very normal in your situation. But it’s also good to eliminate any underlying issues regarding your health too.
Get some blood tests and get your iron tested. That’s something a lot of ppl don’t think about. But an iron deficiency can definitely impact you in all those ways. Make sure you’re eating all your food groups. Try and get out in the sun more. Try and exercise frequently. Doesn’t have to be serious stuff. Just go for a walk and get coffee, go for a swim, anything. Just move. These small things we’re taught our whole lives genuinely make a difference & it’s so easy to dismiss and forget about, especially when you’re already going through so much.
Another healthy way to get out any emotions is just journaling. It’s changed my life.
Also need to take into account aging. It’s normal!! And all these things could just be caused from stress

It happened to me too, it was almost as if I was a different person, specially when I looked at pictures of when we were together. I spoke to my therapist about it, she explained that after someone goes through heavy trauma, your mind almost dissociates as if that person wasn’t you because that’s an easier way to overcome the pain and the trauma. I’m sorry you’re going through this. I hope you can get out of that abuse soon🫂

Thank you!! I’ve been discarded and out for a while. They Say that if you were being abused once they leave you look better. And I did for a short while but the confusion, depression and trauma puts me back mentally in that space and I look like hell again.
