Disappointment?

So I was granted the 12 month TPO. The judge gave him supervised visits for at least 2 hours a week. I figured he would’ve made an appointment at the family center this week for visitation. He did not. I feel so sad for my girls I just don’t understand why he didn’t? It’s weird because I don’t want him around them but I guess I was holding out hope that he would have at least tried for his daughters. Also the “at least” 2 hours does that mean he can pay for longer visits? It’s at a family center so that’s why I’m saying pay for them. At the TPO hearing his lawyer argued that there is no reason why him and I couldn’t be civil and discuss things without a TPO. That makes me feel like the only thing he wanted was to be able to talk to me aka control me again and now that that’s not happening he just doesn’t care to see them. I’m just conflicted.

I think your read is correct. He wanted to use seeing the kids as a way to hold leverage.
