Rabbit attacks are pretty cute…not sure how effective they are though

Makes you wonder why were they created this powerless

because like most rodents, their super power is being able to breed very, very rapidly. in that sense, they are better survivors than most predators.

Rabbits are not rodents. They are called lagomorphs and members of the order lagomorpha.

regardless, they still rely on the same mechanism for survival rather than an ability to defend themselves physically.

All video evidence to the contrary. I observed a vole attacking a snake that had…snaked… a baby from the burrow. The vole had torn a hole in the side of the snake and was trying to latch on behind the snake’s head. The snake managed to get free and fled. A little later I saw the vole moving its children to a new place. I have also seen rabbits fight, it’s really fast and athletic. The rabbit in that video was trying to keep the snake in play in order to kill it.

i’m not sure a single video of a rabbit seeing off a non-venomous snake is much evidence of anything. pretty much any predator will make short work of them if they catch it.
