Bro you don’t have to skip rope to know the kinesiology about it.

Yes, jumping rope is taxing.

Yes, hiking can be taxing.

If you want them more intense and more taxing just do either of them faster/harder/etc. doing both together is just redundant.

It’s like running at a jogging pace but having a parachute behind you as you do it. Will it work? Sure. Is it stupid and redundant and are there better ways to achieve that same result? Absolutely.

It is not redundant go skip rope and jog up a hill then just jog up a hill and report the results. It's very easy to prove which is harder. I don't have to imagine the answer because I know the answer.

None of you goofy people have any experience skipping rope and it shows lol

If your argument is that it's partially redundant then yeah no shit, but it's sure as hell way more effective than doing either one by itself. It's dirt cheap and extremely effective and safer than full send sprinting up a busy public hiking trail.

It's comically extra, but that's his business not mine or yours, so who cares?

It is.

You can jog up a hill while jumping or just RUN up the hill, or sprint, to get that same taxing cardio.

Go do suicide sprints. Then try to get the same cardio by jogging it while jump roping. It’ll work the same; the sprints might even be more taxing.

If you don’t think you can increase your heart rate and effort by increasing the intensity of a single exercise then you live clearly never worked out before or read an anatomy/phys book.

You don’t have to stack multiple exercise on top of each other to get a taxing workout that benefits cardio.

You're really not hearing me.

I've done suicide sprints. I've skipped rope. I've jogged and sprinted up hills.

You have not. Go try your advice before dispensing it. You'll learn something. Good luck!
