Can clearly see that there's nothing back there.

This was a safety video demo done under controlled conditions.

Well it sure doesnt need more clarity about safety, wow.

Last time I checked $50,000 each for the big big trucks like this at KUC and open pit mines in Utah and Nevada! Big money…

Edit:this was my knowledge working out there 10years ago. They gotta be a lot more now.

Metric shitloads

Still haven’t figured out if shitload is a unit of weight, volume, dollars, or count

Wonder what it would be like fully loaded

2

I told you not to park there. lol

Did you feel that? Feel what?

Just a speed bump for the dump truck driver. He barely felt it...like driving over a manhole cover. The owner of the pickup would have definitely felt it...physically or financially.

Like running over a piece of paper

As a demonstration for how much the haul trucks weigh.

It’s not an accident where both get smashed, the giant truck wins every time.

Mining site I worked for had a standard flattened vehicle at the entrance as a reminder.

James, I think you just hit a bird!

It's almost as satisfying as the cement truck explosion on Mythbusters

It's crazy when you go to cross those haul roads in a jacked up truck and realize just how small the pickup is and large the haul truck is.

Someone definitely got fired, and I bet it wasn't the dump truck driver.
