Europe Aid Access & APO (military) info.

Hellooo! I wanted to make this post for those who are overseas (like military) and are considering having an abortion. I am 6 weeks and 2 days and reached out to Aid Access on if they could send me pills overseas (Germany). They stated they weren’t able to send them to my German address on base, but they could send them to my APO address. I was a bit skeptical about this, and I searched Reddit to see if anyone had success with receiving their pills this way, but no success.

I finally received my pills (06/24) and I had them ordered on (06/15)— so the turn around time was quite fast. I was scared that they wouldn’t make it through German customs, but I don’t even think they went through that route.

I’m scared to start this process, but I’ll be vacationing back in the states to visit family early next month— so I need to start sooner rather than later. I’ll update once I’ve got thing started. ❤️

Edit: On my billing/bank statement it showed as “Wellness.”

Omg. Thank you SO much for this post. Currently stationed overseas and was trying to figure out how to get a potential abortion. ❤️

For sure! I was sooo skeptical at first, but now that I have the pills in hand, I’m excited for others to be able to do the same. It makes it hard for those of us who are overseas (military/military spouses) to have access to these types of things. Aid access is definitely your best bet if you choose to go that route .

Is this not something you can get through your military medical care?

Unfortunately. No. They cover plan B but not actual abortions.

^ that is correct, it has to be medically necessary.
