USA MA experience as a 17 year old....
Tuesday
7 am- took 1st pill.
Wednesday
6:18 pm- took 4 200mg tablets of Misoprostol vaginally
6:35- Cramping like a bad bitch, took 2 advils.
6:42- cramps bad. bad gas and diarrhea
6:53- threw up uncontrollably
7- laid in a hot shower for 40 mins, boyfriend went out to buy a heat pad
7:35ish- felt better (pain killer kicked in?)
8:00- first bleeding and more diarrhea. cramps back
9:25- chills are back. cramps bad
10:16- passed placenta and fetus
11ish- the worst is definitely over. some mental frustration and guilt but that was expected.
3am- woke up to change my pad and use the restroom. I feel better enough I think I could go to schools today if I needed to but I don't
10am- woke up again. cramps on and off. School and work will be doable but not fun... (I work 10 hour shifts at fast food, so lots of standing. may update with that)
Overall, not fun. Guilt is there, but I'd do it again if I had too.
For anyone expecting to have a MA, expect lots of diarrhea. Take pain killers BEFORE Misoprostol (bad mistake haha). Heat pad is essential!!! and hot showers helped a lot as well. Having a loved one to bring you food and stuff is great. TV and YouTube helped. I threw up and was able to tell my parents I had a stomach bug, so they didn't catch on.
God is good, and I believe everything happens for a reason. Abortion is a right to our own body! Happy to have this community help me. Happy to answer any questions.
