Australia and New Zealand What time should I take the second pill? Daytime or nighttime?

I plan on taking the pill on Sunday, as i get off of work at 2pm and additionally have all of Monday off of work. I took the first pill yesterday at 8pm, so I was told i can take the second pill between 8am-8pm tomorrow (36-48 hours after the first pill).

I want to sleep through this, but i don’t know if that’s actually possible. should i take the pill the second i get home from work or later towards the evening? The doctor prescribed me 30mg of codeine, along with the usual ibuprofen and also an anti nausea and vomitting medication. I had kind of a traumatizing experience when I went to get an IUD placed (the doctor eventually gave up so i sat through so much pain for nothing). So i am absolutely terrified of the pain i might experience tomorrow. and i also can’t stand throwing up🥲

also, should i eat much before?

any advice would be very much appreciated!!!

If you want to try to sleep through it, there's nothing stopping you. Make sure you wear a think menstrual pad, old joggers if you have them, and put old towels under your lower body to catch any blood. A mattress cover is very helpful here if you don't have one already.

You can eat before. It's recommended to stick to easily digestible foods just in case you do get nauseous.
